Construction- Day 5 Thur Aug 28

We have a railing!!!


Almost done, we still have a few things left to do. We are going to add decretive trim to the sides and we need to paint the walls but it is going to have to wait until Monday.

Construction day 4--Wed. Aug 27

Not a lot of visible change to report. Jer has taped the wall, sanded, and remuded. It is coming along.

Constuction Day 3-- Tuesday Aug 26

The wall has been restored!
And plastered with the post stained
We still have another coat of mud then we will be ready for primer.

Constuction day 2-- Monday August 25th

Jer got the new steps rebuilt and the wall ready for drywall
The steps are recarpted. Jer decided that he hates carpet, at least when he as to relay it.

Under Construction day 1- Sunday Aug 24

Well we are putting in a banister. Jeremy got overly excited and decided to start even though it was Sunday evening. This is the progress that was made on day 1.

Terra's First Day of 1st Grade

Terra started 1st grade today. She was so excited that she has been counting down the days. It wasn't a tough choice what to wear today, it was clearly a Hannah Montana day. She wore her new Hannah Montana shirt that she has been dying to wear. She was excited that I bought lunchables for her to take for lunch. Jeremy followed the bus and then helped her find her class. To say the least she was VERY EXCITED!!!

A LOOK BACK AT SUMMER 08

So I can't believe how the summer has flown by. Next week my fall classes start and Terra will be starting 1st grade on the 25th. This is a look back at some of the events of this summer.

Tyler showings us how wakeboarding is done. He was a great instructor. We were also sad when he left on his mission. He'll do great and he will touch the people in Mexico. I can't belive it I got up on the wakeboard!!!

Wyatte's 4th Birthday

Wow, I can't believe Wyatte is 4. His birthday was on Thursday and we celebrated with a Wall-e birthday party on Friday. He had a lot of fun! Thanks to all those that came!

Glasses!!!

So Wyatte needs glasses. I'll be the first to admit that I had a difficult time with this relization. They gave him an eye screening at preschool and he failed it. I had a hard time believing it but after a month or two I decided to take him in for an eye exam. My heart sank when they said he needed glasses. How does a 3 year old need glasses!!! Well it took me a few more months before I could bring myself to actually purchase them. He just got them last week. He likes the idea of wearing them but not all of the time.

If you ask me I think he looks like "chicken litttle". I told him that but he quickly corrected me and told me that he looks like grandpa not chicken little. "Chicken little has green glasses, grandpa has brown ones like me". I was quickly put in my place.
