Castle update

The castle is coming along and itt keeps me busy. Plus Alicia got engaged 3 weeks ago and is getting married this Saturday. Luckily she is waiting to have her reception until the castle is done. Here is some updated pictures. I've uploaded more on the castle's blog (www.castlemanor.blogspot.com)

My first batch of beans

Well as many of you know I love bottled green beans. The only problem is that they are a lot of work and you need a lot of beans to make them. The last few years I have been lucky to get even one cooker (6-7 qts) for the whole year. That really doesn't go very far. My grandma gave me one of her pickings and I was able to get 6 qts. I am excited because I haven't even started getting beans from my garden. Hopefully we can get a bunch this year!

Wyatte's first day of Kindergarten

I can't believe he is this big but Wyatte started Kingergarten at Northpark. He is in Miss Renee's afternoon class. He didn’t have any anxiety at all. He was SO excited!

Wyatte's 5th Birthday

I realize that Wy’s birthday was actually 3 weeks ago but better late than never. I can’t believe he is already 5. He is getting so big. He had a transformer’s birthday party (with tattoos).

House closed

So it is official we signed closing paper on our house yesterday and it was recorded today. We no longer own a home in Murray. We are anxious to start building in Hyde Park but with the Castle not planning on being done until the end of September and baby Carson due in November we think we are just going to wait until spring to start it. I have decided that this step is bitter sweet. I really enjoyed our house in Murray, the neighbors, and the friends.

FINALLY DONE WITH MY MBA

I am offically done. Well my semester doesn't actually finish until tomorrow but I have turned everything in and taken my final.


I will be having my graduation party on August 15th. Now that I will have a little more time I'm hoping to get invitations sent out this week. If for some reason you don't get one and you'd like to come it is at my new house (265 S 200 E Smithfield) at 6:00pm.

My latest project

I've moved back to Logan to manage Castle Manor which opens in September. This is the latest pictures. It is coming along very nicely.
